Some days feel heavier than others. Not because of anything specific, but because my mind won’t stop racing, and my body can’t seem to catch up. The world moves at its usual pace, but I feel stuck—trapped in a loop of thoughts that never seem to settle.
I stare ahead, my shoulders sinking under the invisible weight of everything I need to do, everything I’ve put off, everything I feel like I should be handling better. ADHD isn’t just about being restless or distracted—it’s the silent struggle, the moments when you’re overwhelmed by the things no one else can see.
It’s the mental chaos of unfinished tasks and misplaced priorities, the guilt of knowing you have potential but not always being able to reach it. It’s fighting against yourself, wanting to move but feeling like you’re standing still.
But even in these heavy moments, I remind myself: this is just one day. One feeling. One moment. And moments pass.
So, I sit with it, breathe, and wait for the weight to lift. Because it always does.
